Meteora literally means “middle of the sky”, “suspended in the air” or “in the heavens above”. Meteora is a truly inspiring and sensational setting of overwhelming rock formations, but one must also be prepared to expect that this trip is much more than merely visiting an exquisite landscape.

Day1

Upon arrival our friendly staff will transfer you to your hotel. Day at leisure or you can choose one of the optional evening tours. Overnight Athens.

Day2

After breakfast, board on the motor coach for your Athens city tour to the major attractions of the city. Visit includes the Acropolis, the Panathenaikon Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896, and much more. Afternoon at leisure or you can choose one of the optional evening tours. Overnight Athens.

Day3

Departure for your 2-day Delphi-Meteora tour. Leave for Delphi via Thebes, Levadia and the picturesque village of Arachova, on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, arrive in Delphi and visit the Archaeological Site. After the visit depart for Kalambaka, passing through picturesque villages and towns of Central Greece. Dinner and overnight Kalambaka.

Day4

Visit Meteora and enjoy a unique and most impressive scenery with ageless Monasteries, containing priceless historical and religious treasures, standing between earth and sky atop huge rocks. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (short stop to see across the road the Leonida’s Monument), arrive in Athens early in the evening. Overnight Athens.
