Relive Greek mythology. Feel the spirit of Athena, roam the Acropolis and discover the mysterious oracle at Delphi.

Day1

Upon arrival our friendly staff will transfer you to your hotel. Day at leisure or you can choose one of the optional evening tours. Overnight Athens.

Day2

Today we will visit the most important sights of Athens and also the world-renown Acropolis and the Parthenon, where you can see the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Era of Athens. After guided tour we will have a short walk, to the traditional Plaka neighborhood. Afternoon free to explore alone the city. Overnight Athens.

Day3

After breakfast we will drive to Corinth channel. There we’ll make a short stop, enough to see the Canal and then we will then proceed to the Mycenae, the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon who dominated the Aegean Sea after the distraction of the Minoan Empire, and we will see the Treasury of Atreus and the Acropolis. After concluding our visit to Mycenae we’ll drive to the picturesque town of Nafplion a sea side picturesque village with a spectacular view to the 18th-century Venetian Fortress of Palamidi. After lunch we continue our visit to Epidaurus, famous for its ancient Theatre and the sanctuary of Asclepios. After concluding our visit to Epidaurus we’ll return to Nafplion.Overnight Nafplion.

Day4

Today we are going to drive over the mountains of Arcadia to Bassae. In Bassae we will visit the imposing Temple of Epikourios Apollo. After concluding our visit to Bassae we will continue through further breathtaking scenery to Olympia. Overnight Olympia.

Day5

After breakfast we will explore Ancient Olympia, nestling in a verdant valley, one of the most evocative of ancient sites; never a town, but the principal sanctuary of Zeus and site of the quadrennial pan-Hellenic athletics competitions. We are going to visit the archaeological site with the Temple of Zeus where the gold and ivory statue of the god was situated. We will also see the Temple of Hera, where the lighting of the Olympic Flame takes place every four years, the original ancient Olympic Stadium and many more monuments. After the archaeological site we will visit the Museum. Then we will start our trip to Delphi, where we’ll arrive in the evening. Overnight Delphi.

Day6

After breakfast we will explore one of the most famous sites of classical Greece, the famous Oracle of Delphi, considered the center of the earth and the universe. We will see the Castalia Spring and the main archaeological site (the Temple of Apollo, the Treasury of the Athenians, the Theatre, the Stadium, etc.) and the Museum with the famous statue of Antinoos and the unique bronze statue of the Charioteer dated from 475 B.C. After lunch we will drive down mountain Parnassos towards back to Athens. Free afternoon. Overnight Athens.

Day7

Free morning for a last walk in Athens and check out. Transfer to the airport and departure. According to your return flight, you can have optionally 4 hours at Mc Arthur GlenDesigner Outlet Athens.
